Danny Driver, piano
One of Britain’s most respected pianists, Danny Driver is recognized internationally for his sophistication, insight, and musical depth, with a holistic approach inspired by studies at Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music. His concert programs and recordings reflect his breadth of repertoire and musical curiosity, exploring mainstream and neglected music from the Baroque period to the present day.

Recent concerto engagements include the BBC Scottish Symphony, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Hallé, Minnesota Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, London Philharmonic, American Symphony, and many others. Driver’s many collaborations with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra include performances throughout the United Kingdom, at London’s Cadogan Hall, and at the BBC Proms.

Among Driver's recital highlights are frequent visits to London’s Wigmore Hall, among them a series focused on György Ligeti and a “Variations” series spanning the 2025–26 and 2026–27 seasons. Driver also gave solo recitals at the Southbank Centre’s international Piano Series, Carnegie Hall, Music Toronto, San Francisco Performances, Montreal’s Salle Bourgie, and Klavierraritäten Husum, while enjoying long-term associations with festivals such as Lammermuir, Lichfield, and the Bard Music Festival.

A Gramophone Award–nominated artist, Driver has released many acclaimed recital and concerto recordings on the Hyperion Records label.
